MICHAEL S. LEVY, D.O., FASAM
The Founder and Medical Director of the Center for Addiction Medicine, Dr. Michael S. Levy has dedicated his 23-year medical career to the treatment of alcohol and drug dependencies.

Dr. Levy established the first medical practice in Nevada specializing in addiction medicine in 1995. In 1998, he incorporated the Center for Addiction Medicine to provide a full range of medical and therapeutic services to patients in need of confidential, individualized treatment for alcoholism and other drug addictions. As medical director of the program, Dr. Levy oversees outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents with substance abuse problems, as well as programs for families affected by chemical dependency.

Previously, Dr. Levy served as the clinical director for adult and adolescent chemical dependency programs at Montevista Hospital in Las Vegas and as the clinical director for the Local Addiction Recovery Center in Phoenix, Ariz. His past administrative positions include clinical director of the Addiction Medicine/Dual Diagnosis Program at Northbrook Hospital in Brown Deer, Wisc.; associate medical director of the Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, Wisc.; and medical director of the Recovery Center at Phoenix General Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Levy earned his bachelor of arts degree in Biology from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va., and his Doctor of Osteopathy from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.Va.
