The long-term goal for rehabilitation at the Center for Addiction Medicine is to help individuals regain function, independence and quality of life without drugs or alcohol.

The Center for Addiction Medicine is the first and only private medical practice in the state of Nevada dedicated specifically to the treatment and recovery of alcoholism and other drug addictions.

Individual Addiction Rehab Therapy

Because every patient is unique, it is important that a treatment program is designed especially for the individual.

Nevada state licensed substance abuse counselor’s provide individual therapy based on goals that focus on specific needs, skills and abilities, concentrating on treating the whole person, as well as the illness.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Chemical dependency is more than just a problem. It is a disease that is chronic, progressive and possibly even fatal.

The Center for Addiction Medicine Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to provide a viable treatment alternative to those individuals affected by alcohol and other drug dependencies for whom time-limited counseling once a week is not sufficient. It is also recommended as a follow-up to inpatient residential treatment.

In this program, we use a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of addictive disorders blending treatment services. These services include group, individual and family therapy. In addition, information on codependency is incorporated through ongoing educational sessions.

We utilize the Hazelden “Living in Balance” program for adults and the Matrix Model program for teens and young adults.

The Intensive Outpatient Program consists of group counseling three times a week for six consecutive weeks and one family group per week.

Individual sessions scheduled as deemed necessary by the counselor and Dr. Levy. Upon completion of the program, patients receive unlimited continuing care sessions.

It is also recommended for those individuals for whom inpatient residential treatment is not necessary.
